The right genetics
Verbeek's Bio Europe supplies laying hens from NOVOgen genetics. NOVOgen's breeding programme is based on the Natural Concept. Because NOVOgen is the youngest and first breeding organisation to place their pure lines in group housing, an improvement on the hen's behaviour and resilience has been created immediately.
High-quality rearing
Besides the right genetics, Verbeek's Bio Europe has a large pool of organic rearing companies with passionate rearing specialists on its staff. After hatching at the hatchery, technical specialists supervise the rearing flocks from day-old chicks to ready-to-lay pullets. The Nivo Varia rearing systems result in an agile hen with good nesting behaviour. A uniform rearing concept in terms of light, vaccination and feed programmes and the professional breeders do the rest. All of Verbeek's Bio Europe rearing farms are EU-Bio certified.
