History

In 1963, Verbeek began as a modest family business. With a heart full of dedication and a vision for growth, the company went through a major expansion and became part of Cebeco in 2001. In the following years, Verbeek acquired several shareholders: first Agruniek Rijnvallei, followed by Group Grimaud, and in 2021 Verbeek became part of the EW Group. Since 2024, we have had a close cooperation with Ter Heerdt and all production activities, including hatching eggs, one-day-old chicks and 17-week-old hens, are housed in Ter Heerdt & Verbeek Productie B.V.

Over the years, Verbeek has built a strong name and made its own mark in the laying poultry sector, as a supplier employing dedicated people with a deep passion for poultry farming and a wealth of knowledge.

The path to success has been shaped by our unique way of working, in which quality, transparency, trust and close cooperation with our clients and partners are key. This has brought Verbeek to where it is today: a company that constantly looks at developments in the market and our clients' needs with an open mind.
